The Scarlet, Lincoln, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Friendly staff....room was a little tired looking, but nice. Overall, a good one night stay for a business trip.

Hotel is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Appreciate the dog friendliness. The restaurant on site was great. We stayed a week ago for a night and I will say the staff that night were extra amazing. So welcoming to us and our pup. Offered treats and gave us the lay of the land on where to be and what to do and best food to eat even! We dined at the rooftop restaurant and everyone was amazing and so sweet. This time the woman at the front desk seemed much less interested. Didn’t mention our pup besides charging us for him to stay. We asked about parking as we had an issue with the Passport app working where the self park lot is and she didn’t give much help to the situation and just shrugged saying we shouldn’t get towed if we’re out early enough which made us a little anxious.

We had a problem with the parking lot payment app not working. No one knew what to do. Didn’t get super warm vibes from the front desk but we did a week ago from different people. Maybe it’s a long week - it was for us too - but always nice to be welcomed with a water bottle and a dog treat vs. rushed off besides being reminded of where dogs aren’t allowed and the fee for the night.

Parking is terrible, especially when being charged $20.

We booked during a road trip. Within a few minutes we realized the hotel was in the wrong direction. We called immediately. The hotel refused to reverse the charge. So much for that Midwest hospitality.

Welcoming and homie unlike modern hotels. Safe and quiet.

Hotel feels very new and fresh and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The barred owl rooftop was a fun place to grab drinks and food. Property felt very dog friendly as well for us and our pup. Bed and bedding was very comfortable too. We’ll be back again!

Drew and his staff are fantastic. We try to stay here every time we go to Lincoln.

Very convenient for anything going on at UNL.

The facilities are nice and the rooms are clean however the extra charges for parking (22 dollars), pet fee $150 and the internet charge 12.95 made the 1 day stay close to 500 dollars. Not worth it!😡
