Camptel Poconos

Really cool concept! Will probably be back in the future. My only issue was that our bedroom heat didn’t work and there was no way to get ahold of someone late at night. Overall cool place! Bring anything you’d camp with for meals.

The overall idea and quietness of the area

HORRENDOUS guest service. HORRIBLE conditions with mouse droppings EVERYWHERE and a live mouse running into the bathroom the first night. Dirty pillows, MOLD in shower and curtain… Broken heaters and ZERO response

A first time glamping experience, we will happily do it again!

This was my 4th time staying but I was disappointed this time. The toilet still had urine in it… the sofa smelled like urine…someone has left ice cream in the fridge from a previous stay…couldn’t use the fire pit and it was completely dark on our side of the camp while other cabins has the fire pit in use and had string lights for their comfort .

Wasnt the best stay I've had

Wanted to experience staying in a tiny home. Had thought about buying one at one point. The inside was cute. It turned out to be a container home. Thought it had a loft when we booked, but just one bedroom and a pull-out sofa. The refrigerator worked well.

Don't book in cold weather! You'll freeze!!! No heat in bathroom. The window was open when we arrived and the outside temperature was in the 40's!! Staff was non-existant. Never saw anyone. Just a phone number. The mini-split in the unit was too small to provide sufficient heat. Although a propane fire-pit was advertised, there was no propane. No instructions on how to use the TV or mini-split. No stove. Just a microwave.

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed in my life. This is such a unique idea and it's so wonderfully done. The inside is so comfortable, and the outside is beautiful. The perfect blend of comforts of technology and nature. We will definitely be back!

The container house was clean, comfortable, and really super cool. My friend and I stayed in the unit named Happy. We absolutely loved it. We used this as our home base to visit Jim Thorpe and surrounding areas. When we had a question the property reps responded promptly. We had difficulty lighting the fire pit as we didn't know how to do it. They sent a guy over to help us. I tried to start my car one morning and found the battery was dead. One of the workers helped us out with a jump start. It is great when service is responsive and timely. Last but not least, should you wonder, we bought our food in Leighton using grocery stores and a food truck selling Barbeque - yum!
