Himley Country Hotel

The room was beyond filthy, the hotel was very smelly and in overall really poor condition.

Disgusting filthy bedrooms, no restaurant as advertised , people in corridors at night shouting

The hotel served our purpose but was in need of a little TLC

The bathroom ceiling in room 224 is covered in mould and the ceramic wall tiles are dirty, the noise from the extractor fan is horrendous.fortunately it isn’t the only hotel in Dudley, so i will never have to stay there again

Appalling accommodation. The room had mould all over the windows. The furniture was very old and had been painted over in a very unprofessional way, really patchy. The sheets on the bed weren’t very clean and smelt funny. The carpet was dirty and worn, getting threadbare. The bathroom was dirty and dated. Mould around the sealant, huge hole in the tiles above the toilet. Behind the toilet the tiles on the floor were missing and the floor was really dirty and mouldy where the tiles were missing. There was orange soap scum around the fittings on the bath. The bathroom hook on the back of the door was missing, the holes still there. We were left just one large towel. The doors and walls had brown stuff splashed over them, in both the bedroom and bathroom. The main door had a hole in the bottom where someone had kicked it. The walls were paper thin and we were woken up by other residents constantly. We found the gentleman on reception quite abrupt and rude and the car park was full of rubbish, bottles and cans on the floor. We just wanted to leave but knew it would be difficult to get somewhere at short notice.

The windows didn’t seal so the wind howled through the room. It smelt bad, dirty, old and the bathroom Was so bad I wouldn’t have washed my dog in it. We left in about 2 minutes. Trying to get a refund on an ‘unfit for purpose’ room from Expedia is painful so far.. not holding my breath (which I had to do in the room)

Was ok for a nights stay, room smelt like might have been a smoking room at some point. Needs a tidy up decorating wise and shower and bathroom needs updating.

We refused to stay here, checked in and checked out! The rooms were dirty, springs sticking out of the ebds, damp up the walls, plug sockets broken, curtains not even hung properly. No lock on inside of door. Disgusting, my dogs wouldnt even sleep here. No manager available until Monday so will be calling then! Took loads of pictures. Health & Safety risk its that bad 👎 Terrible, needs closing down.

no plug for bathroom sink or bath. no toilet peper. spri gs poking through matress. only 1 very thin pillow. lots of broken tiles in bathroom. tv didnt work plug sockts not wirking etc etc etc

It was not an enjoyable stay. Family room and the toilet door wouldn't shut properly, Bathroom had mould, windows had cobwebs on them.
