Good location close to the beach and old town. Apartments are big and comfortable, clean and very well equipped.

We had a 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms ground floor apartment. The sandy beach was 2 minutes by walk, gyros place front of the apartment and the farmers market as well.

Nothing

The place itself was great the area around smells a little funny.

this was not a far walk from downtown chania. In addition, they had parking which was convenient. The bedroom was nice.

They advertised a washer and dryer. We came to find out there was no dryer (just air dry the clothes). We had booked this place for the washing machine because we were on a 2 week honeymoon trip and needed clean clothes. Upon using the washing machine, the machine started flooding and water filled the entire apartment!! I immediately called the owner, they didn’t answer. I then texted and they answered and told me no one could come by that night, that someone could only come by tomorrow morning. My husband and I didn’t want to leave water everywhere on the floor since it had seeped into the bedroom as well where our clothes were (and our shoes got wet too!). Luckily there was a mop in the corner of the room, and we spent an hour mopping the entire apartment and used an entire paper towel roll. The next day my husband was able to fix it himself!! We let the owner know in the morning and asked how they were going to compensate us. They offered to have a housekeeper come by. I wasn’t sure what that would do since we ended up cleaning all the water ourselves the night before. I asked them for a refund for the night of the incident and have not heard back. And to top it off we found someone else’s bathing suit in our bathroom, so im not sure how much cleaning is actually happening.

Spacious apartment with an excellent balcony. The apartment has everything you need and is very nicely decorated and new. The mattress on the bed is especially good for sleeping. The location is also excellent, very close to Nea Chora beach while it was also very easy to get out of town if you wanted to go to other beaches towards Platanias, Falasarna, Balos, Elafonisi beach etc. There is a parking lot in front of the building and it was never a problem to find a parking lot even if we were in the middle of the season.

New apartment

We stayed 2 weeks. I was expecting the apartment to be cleaned at least once a week. I had to ask for the bed sheets change.
