The service from the staff was exceptional. The room was lovely as were all the areas

The pool was a little cold

The room was spacious, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The staff were kind, considerate and very helpful. The very definition of excellence. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Muir and would recommend to anyone who likes to be pampered. The Spa experience was out of this world and the staff even contacted us when the number of people using the spa became much lower for our enjoyment. We would love to visit again!

The service at this hotel was exceptional and then topped by the genuine warmth and hospitality of East Coast Canadians. I received a very beautiful gift in my room - including a lovely book of Sable Island (which I was there to visit), some delicious herbal tea, a pair of binoculars, a posey of lavender, and an incredible personalized note from the concierge (who had clearly done his research). It went beyond the handwritten “we hope that you enjoy your stay” by a very long shot. All the staff were truly excited to hear about my adventure. It made me even more excited for a very special trip. They were equally excited to prepare my very conveniently packed picnic basket for the day - and I was equally chuffed with their “surprise”. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hotel amenities (particularly the salt room) were excellent. Housekeeping was perfect - even with my annoying do not disturb when working in the room all one day…somehow they knew when I stepped out for a few moments and popped the sign off the door to come in and work their magic. I felt very well taken care of by everyone in the hotel - and their genuine interest and excitement exemplified the beautiful spirit of the East Coast.
