Muir, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Halifax

Great place. clean , great restaurants. Steam and pool area were very nice with the best hotel gym I have ever seen .

TV was not mounted conveniently, you need to turn your head 90 degrees to view it from the bed. On checkout day the car valets were more app focused with no assistance, instead of a personal touch. Given that it is a 5 star establishment, one would think a more personal experience would be the culture. No SPA services within the hotel, the partner facilities were not accommodating.

We wrapped up our 10 night N.S trip with 3 nights at this outstanding hotel! By far the best hotel in Halifax hands down don't stay anywhere else. The rooms are very well appointed and very comfortable. The hotel has a very cool roof top speak easy for hotel guests only. The location is 10 out 10 its right on the board walk with many excellent restaurants available right outside your door. Also many great pubs nearby i would highly recommend the old triangle Irish ale house for nightly music.

We had a great stay at Muir. The rooms were stunning, clean, with thoughtful touches. The staff delivered both a piece of cake and card for a birthday we were celebrating, and a cocktail for National Vodka day. The location was awesome, and we loved all the amenities. BKS had delicious cocktails, views, great atmoshphere and service. The gym appeared to be stocked with a wide variety of good quality equipment. We enjoyed our time unwinding in the wellness spa. The only downsides were that we weren't told we had to book a reservation to use the salt room in the wellness area (so we weren't able to get in), and that we had to wait over 20 minutes to have our vehicle retrieved. All in all, it was a fabulous stay though.

We love the Muir! Everything was incredible. Great amenities, extremely professional and friendly staff from front desk to greetings staff, to in room dining, to spa, to drift/BKS restaurant to house keeping. Room was also incredible! We will definitely be back.. soon! Thank you for an incredible stay we really loved it and felt special and it was great! We felt so taken care of.

This Hôtel was exceptional in every way!! The location for Halifax was perfect and all the staff in the hotel were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond - a special mention to Oran who went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and share tips and advise on the local area.

Not one thing! The special bar for guests was a winner and dinner in their restaurant was really good and service excellent!

The hotel and surrounding area is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and modern. The restaurant drift left us very underwhelmed, and the restaurant staff were not nearly attentive enough for the price point and style.

Magnifique hôtel

The staff were outstanding. We had a baby and a three year old and all staff were above and beyond welcoming, kind and helpful. Way to go team Muir!
