Is away from the city .. need a golf car to travel around ..

Overall CLEANLINESS, well maintained AMENITIES, excellent COMMUNICATION and ATTENTIVENESS, from point of booking all the way up until check out! A stressful trip with a 1 & 5 year old and elderly parents and inlaws was salvaged due to this home away from home experience. Highly recommend!

Only complaint is that we didn't have enough time to partake in any of the Suya Tours/Excursions. Next time for sure.

I really don't know where to start. We found this condo on VRBO, and within less than 24 hours after booking we heard from Sandra who offered us her concierge services. She booked our flight to Ambergris Caye, and our golf cart rental. She also booked our ride from the airport to the condo. She also connected us with Richard, from Suya tours who was incredibly helpful on answering some questions we had. When we landed, Manolo was there to drive us to the condo, and even offered to stop at a local store for us to get coffee for the next morning. When we arrived, both Sandra and Richard were there to greet us, even though it was later in the evening. Sandra showed us around the condo, gave us an amazing recommendation for dinner (Black Orchid) and even showed us how to use the golf cart. We stayed on the first floor, every morning we sat out on our patio and drank coffee while enjoying the view of the pool and gorgeous ocean. The pools are refreshing and very clean. Everything about the grounds are so well cared for. It's a gorgeous resort. Condo very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. You just can't be the beauty of this location, but what made it stand above and beyond was the customer service. Sandra gave us some great recommendations, and she was so responsive to every single thing we asked and needed. When we ran into her at one of the local restaurants, she greeted us like old friends! Richard is one of the friendliest people I've ever met, and it was a joy to hear him talk about the different excursions available. We loved every part of staying at Hol Chan Reef Resort & Villas. We are already planning to come back for my 50th birthday celebration next year.

There was no breakfast provided. The room was beautiful and the surrounding beach and amenities were awesome. Sandra was a great concierge and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and convenient. She was always available for questions and recommendations. The staff were very friendly.

The resort didn’t really have anything nearby within walking distance so we always had to rent a ride to get into town for things we needed

This place was exactly we we were looking for. Very comfortable. Sandra and Richard were amazing took care of our transportation and food needs. I definitely would come and stay again . The hospitality was everything.

All the rooms were very spacious and equipped with everything we could possibly need, including toiletries, towels, and hair dryers. The terrace had a beautiful view perfect to sit in the mornings and evenings

The hotel was in a great location with beautiful views. The concierge and activities coordinator were extremely responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

Bed was a little hard.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom unit. It was spacious and accommodated our family well. The view from the balcony is beautiful.

This location does not have a beach but many areas on the island do not have a beach. It is located quite a bit south of town so makes the golf cart trip undesirable. One air conditioning unit leaked. It was fixed but then leaked again the next day so we had to keep it off the remainder of the trip. The microwave also didn’t work but was fixed. A faucet in one sink in the primary bathroom had only a small trickle of water so was unusable.

The location was fair from most things however outside of that it was a wonderful place! Cassandra and Richard were AMAZING. I would stay here again.

Location, again it was about a 20-25 min cart from center city which is where most restaurants/clubs were and then 45 min from secret beach. There are resorts that are much closer but the staff made it worth it.
