The beach was not suitable for swimming

Great working with Sandra. Condo was very nice and location beautiful.

Had an issue with one of the excursions. Fishing for the morning, 2 1/2 hours of the 4 hour excursion was spent netting bait for the fishing excursion. There was not going to be any comlremlse to the issue until Sandra stepped in. Our next excursion was with a different company, not the one associated with the condo.

What a beautiful place. Very clean, spacious condo with breath taking view. We had no idea what we were doing. Sandra, our concierge, was able to assist us with all of our needs such as booking taxis and golf cart rentals. Her response to all of our questions (we had many!) was prompt and detailed. She made our trip into the unknown so easy!!

Beautiful condo with breathtaking views. Very clean and quiet. Excellent service. A bit far from the Secret Beach but worth the drive. Sandra was available to answer any of our questions and Richard was very helpful with booking activities. Highly recommend.

The staff were very helpful and on top of things. The room itself was outstanding, very big yet comfortable, with nice modern touches. The view was also beautiful.

Being so close to the marine reserve, I am a little surprised they don’t have their own boats/captains. We were able to charter a private guide. It was only a 10 min ride out to the Reserve and Shark Ray Alley, but was quoted $500 when i inquired with staff. That’s a bit of a racket, but if you are willing to look around, there are other options. I expected to be able to snorkel from the hotel. That’s not really an option. A boat is a must.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hol Chan. It was secluded enough that we felt we were away from the hustle and bustle and could enjoy the peace and quiet. However, it was close enough to restaurants and shops that we could access whatever we needed within a few minutes drive on the golf cart. Plus, the pool bar serves food throughout most of the day, just not dinner. When you order, the food is delivered from a nearby restaurant, and the quality of food is amazing. The staff was wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond in all aspects.

The distance to town felt a bit longer than anticipated on the golf carts. Pros and cons to this. Nice quiet location, but a bit far to get food/drinks in town daily.
