A stunning hotel: truly reminiscent of 1930s Art Deco not only in architecture and small details from lighting to furniture but also the swimming pool and jazz band in the main restaurant. Immaculate rooms with attention to detail and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were also amazing and all the staff first class. We had a wonderful time. We have an ASD daughter and secured a room with an adjoining bedroom for our daughter separated by a sliding door. Further, it was really sustainable with water refilled from the nearby lake source and waste minimalised and recycled where possible. Thank you.

Aesthetics, location, restaurant, breakfast, staff, everything was fantastic

It is a great hotel with Michelin key rating for a reason. It is boutique but has everything that is needed. Sauna , pool, gym , and movie room, etc. Front desk is great, shout out to Tomas from Argentina who moves to Oslo for love. He explained facilities well and did a quick tour of the hotel. He promoted strawberry chain for the hotel without feeling soliciting. Great sales and customer service. That is the best that a hotel can have. All other services we received is also good , decent. Overall great.

I just stayed for a couple of days at Sommerro and It has been truly wonderful. It offered all we needed during our stay specially being easter and all the stablishments in the city were pretty closed. The breakfast, the pools and saunas and the gym were amazing.

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful 1930s-style hotel, having two different rooms. The reception was impeccable, the rooms were clean and well-equipped; perhaps the only flaw was the lack of two sinks in the bathroom. The sleep quality was excellent, the rooms were well-soundproofed, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very well-stocked, and the egg menu was excellent. I think the restaurant where we had dinner one evening was one of the best in Oslo. The gym, pools, and sauna were well-organized and well-stocked. If we return to Oslo, the Sommerro will be our hotel of choice. Well done!
