Low Price. Only two of 4 bath towels were clean. Linen was clean.

Upon arrival in the apartment, there was a strong mens deodorant scent within the entire apartment. The ad displayed a luxurious modernised apartment, the one we stayed in was more on the vintage side. Pictures of the bathrooms have not matched to what we saw, bathrooms were definitely not aesthetically pleasing. Heater was broken. WiFi had countless connections issues. Apartment had a foul smell once the deodorant scent wore out. Scatter cushions on the couch was dirty and smelly. Couch was dirty. The entire apartment’s floor were extremely dirty. There was no broom to sweep either. I tried calling the host/reception but there was no answer. Only 2 of 4 bath towels was clean. Toiletries were filled with water.

"Beautiful potential, poorly managed."

Stunning location, tranquility of the main Island Club Estate of unit "Menorca 103". But the initial unit above the "fish n chips shop" unit G12 was a nightmare!

We arrived to be told that "the unit booked has no key" and they gave us G12. The unit was dirty, the patio was filthy, the furniture was "fixed" with wires and ropes, rubbish on the patio, beer bottles with cigarette butts and the white leather couch hasn't been cleaned in ages. We refused to accept this unit, and suddenly the booked apartment was available. This unit is lovely, truly, but again not the reality of the property presented on the Booking.com presentation. But also the bathrooms had black mould growing like vines in the shower and ceilings! We asked for a proper clean and after nothing was done, boiled kettles of water and washed the shower tiles, door, grout ourselves. Then purchased mildew cleaner at Woolies and I had to show the cleaners how very easy it is to properly clean and maintain a bathroom. On 29 May we were requested where our key is, as check-out is 11:00. But we are booked and paid to depart 30 May. I sent the confirmation by WhatsApp to their Concierge line, to be sent a photo of their system for my reservation of 27-29 May. We were booked and prepaid 24-30 May! Then everyone argues internally and with me about the correct booking days, yet the reservation is on Booking.com clear as daylight. Management and Supervision is a disaster at Smart City Stays. It was a horrible experience. Sadly, after years of making use of this property group, after this experience, we won't ever again.

Location, spaciousness, comfort and fully equipped for our needs.

It was initially quite difficult to know where to fetch they keys and then to find the unit - we were told G but it is in fact in B and the numbering of the units is inconsistent so not easy to initially establish exactly where the apartment was.
