Cleanliness..location..updated

They did not have a no pet room to accommodate us, but the room was very clean. The lady told us no pets were allowed when checking in, but we soon learned differently. Two dogs in a nearby room barked loud and continuously for 3 hours. Finally asked the office and owners were summoned back to the room and barking ceased. Can't blame the dog..it was alone and in a strange place, thus it barked.

Excellent location. Room was clean and functional. Liked the chairs outside on the porch for sitting in the evening. Also liked the bike availability. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our beds were not comfortable.

Easy to find, good location, shops for basic groceries, batteries, beach items, T shirts across the street. Its history, a landmark for decades, people working there whose ancestors are part if the commercial history of Ocracoke. Proximity to excellent restaurants, including Pony Island Restaurant, serving delicious breakfasts right next door. Like homemade, but better.

Beds were lumpier than any I’ve slept in for maybe 20 years. But room was clean and provided basics.

Great location, nice pool area. We got the junior suite and was nice and spacious.

Very thin walls. Noisy A/C and noisy neighbors. Someone started what sounded like a washing machine and dryer above us at 11:45pm and kept me awake all night.
