Bitzaro Boutique Hotel

Good location, easily accessible from the port where we had been working on a boat. We decided to book last minute for the night after a busy 5 months of back to back work. Bed was comfortable and large - we slept well.

Unfortunately, when we arrived and entered the room, I was quite disappointed. It was clear that the room needed a more thorough clean, as there were small flies in the bathroom along with visible dust and hair. We had booked this room specifically to use the bath and unwind, but there was no tap, which was unexpected, so I had to fill it using the shower head. When I turned on the jet feature, a concerning amount of black mould came out into the water, which made it unusable. In addition, the shower area could have been much cleaner — the drain cover had visible residue and mould buildup, which was quite off-putting and gave the impression that the bathroom hadn’t been deep-cleaned in some time. I understand that some of these issues may relate more to maintenance than to housekeeping, but overall it left the room feeling neglected. If this had been my only summer holiday of the year, I would have been very disappointed.

Breakfast was a real treat and the hotel was super convenient, right next to loads of yummy restaurants and shops.

The pillows needed to be replaced.

Very friendly staff, we made a very late booking due to a cancelled flight and they were very helpful. Room was spacious with a huge balcony and very well put together.

Lovely medium-sized hotel in a great waterfront location overlooking the bay, and only a few hundred metres to very nice small pebbly beaches. Spacious room with a large balcony overlooking the water. Excellent breakfast catering to every taste. Only 200 metres to the hub of Zakinthos Town and the Port.

A few very minor maintenance issues with the bathroom, which Incedently was spacious and modern.
