Pocono Mountains Hotel and Spa

Beautiful resort and beyond kind staff. Though a bit far from shopping and gas stations the quiet space is what this offers. The Wi-Fi did go out on the tv for most of the night but everything else was enjoyable and didn’t personally bother me too much to have tech issues. Definitely recommend!

The owner was very sweet and helpful. We spun out in the snow and needed a last minute place to stay. I felt so safe and welcomed at this place. He helped us out the best he could despite being in the middle of a snow storm. My boyfriend and I will forever appreciate all of the help the owner offered during a rough time

Poorly heated. Large rooms with 4000 watt spaceheaters! Probable room temp 68 degrees. Not good after skiing or hunting in very cold days. Furnace appears to be partially dissambled and would cost a fortune. No staff on hand that I saw. Place was quite beautiful at one. Would not recommed.unless it was $50 anight

Amazing place

So the owner was nice and the front desk personnel were friendly but people really need to know what they’re getting into before staying here. It is evident that the property was abandoned for many years and then reopened with little renovations. I’d compare staying there to camping in an old cabin - kind of musty, falling ceilings, random items in lobby drawers (20 year old printers and powered Alfredo sauce under the coffee pot). You can tell there are good intentions for the place, but they’re just not being fulfilled. There are no deadbolts on the room doors and judging by the striker someone could break in with ease. Definitely do not recommend unless you’re really looking for the bare minimum. We ended up going to the local Holiday Inn for our second night.

This was a cute charming little hotel. The room was clean and the staff was great.

This placed looked like it could be in a horror movie. Would not go back there.

very very very very outdated had to run hot water to take a shower/ carpet patches all throughout room and hall/ cobwebs all over old mattresses in hall and outside buildings/musty smell/ banisters broken not safe both upstairs and down outside- never got to see upstairs hall wasn't allowed- also there is an additional section don't know if it is rented or not don't see any parking has another 20- to 40 rooms- not much parking for as big as the place is main building has 59 rooms- parking enough for about 10 cars i think parking lot is overgrown - nobody in lobby when we 1st came no computer very cold and damp when you come into building old cars out side under canopy could not find the place wasn't expecting to be out a dirt road with very small signs was expecting bigger signs very unusual set up old resort just renting out old rooms tv kept cutting out no phone access near a lake but can't get near it

This place is a dump, not worth the price, even if it was low.

This place disgusting smell like mold it looks like they clean behind a toilet and months and my girlfriend as a health problems or wasn't healthy for her to smell mold I think this place should be shut down piece of crap I should get my money back what a rip off show pictures on the website doesn't look like anything like that very disappointed
