I have asked the host for a late check out as we had a Fathers day lunch organized which she agreed before I made the booking but on the day of departure she sent cleaners when we were out having the lunch and has called me few times to ask me to leave the property eventhough she agreed on a later check out That really stressed me out and spoiled our lunch celebration

Loved the house and the garden absolutely beautiful , so lovely and spacious …really impressive house to celebrate my 60th birthday. The beds were comfy and the large en-suite bathroom was so impressive .

Kitchen was well equipped apart from only one tea towel left and no dishcloths just a sponge scrubby and no black bin bags , had to nip to the supermarket to buy supplies . The bath towels were more of a large hand towel and would of been nice with large bath sheets , also we were short of two towels for our group . The toilet door could of done with a lock on it .

beautiful period property, spotlessly clean, spacious, easy walk to the sea front, big garden, short drive to Lytham St Anne’s.

The house blew all of our expectations, it was more than we could have ever hoped for. We got stuck in terrible traffic and we were 2 hours late but Freya was more than accommodating and helpful, even offering to send her mum to meet our fod delivery. The keys were in a lockbox, very easy to locate and access. The house is huge! There were 8 of us and there was no issue with beds or space. The house was spotless. There is a en-suite bathroom + toilet in the master and a separate WC on the landing and a separate WC downstairs, we thought not enough loos for the night time (we are all 40+ haha!) but it was fine. Found lots of table decs in the dining room, this house is meant for entertaining and being full of laughter!! Loads of fridge aka booze storage. The gardens were stunning with little secret areas you can break out into. Super close to town and easy to get taxi's etc. We already talked about coming back - it really was amazing!

Nothing major at all and nothing to even stop us considering coming back but a couple of points to the owners - We wanted to cook the Friday night and lay the amazing dining table and to pull together a full cutlery service was really hard it was all mix match with big knives and forks missing, we managed but would be worth investing in updating this - the same with glasses had mix match and couldn't have 8+ of the same, we actually left 8 champagne flutes there to help the next guests! Again with the equipment in the kitchen - the basics could do with updating (sharp knives, bottle openers etc).
