StripViewSuites at Vdara

Location and it was spacious

The bathroom had some plumbing issues. The water in the toilet was hot. The shower water didn’t have cold water on the second day so everyone had a hard time with the shower.

Good stay

My stay with strip view suites was a mess. Communication was standard but felt automated. I requested place settings and pots and pans and they were not in the room and I never got them. The room was filthy!!!! I thought I walked into Hostle the movie. Dusty, not vacuumed, broken glass from the light fixture in the seats at the table. The fridge did not work and was stained and had hair in it. The dressers were chipped and cracked. The blinds did not work and were broken. The air conditioning vent was hanging off the wall. The only thing clean was the bathroom. The bed was lumpy. And the couch has stains!!! I was advised by the hotel (which I’ve stayed at before Vdara and they are AMAZING!) That these suites are privately owned and responsible for their own upkeep. And they have to pay for maintenance and things like that and that is why it was subpar for Vdaras standards. Vdara sent their own housekeeping up and they were amazing and got room not only amazingly clean but provided me with a new fridge that worked and cleaned top to bottom because I couldn’t change rooms due to the hotel being fully booked. They also sent in maintenance whom was amazing as well to fix the air conditioner and he tried to fix the blinds and he couldn’t. He had to submit for repairs and I had to deal with the sun blazing in my eyes my whole stay. All in all I will never book through Strip View Suites ever again! But I will book through Vdara again per the usual.

Was pleasantly surprised by the property. Clean and spacious. Modern yet still had vintage characteristics.

I liked that valet services came with the room.

The lack of empathy and compensation in regards to the cleanliness of my room. Did not get the experience I was hoping for, nor did my experience equal to the amount I paid for the location, amenities, cleanliness, functioning appliances, etc. Also, you don't receive the same treatment, customer service when you obtain a owners suite then you would if you booked a hotel suite.

Clean air

Rented a condo in Vdara and parking was included very convenient plus included at the MGM sister property

This is a complete scam. The property positions itself as "strip view". I got the completely opposite experience. I didn't have a single bit of the strip. ZERO! Contacted hotel, they couldn't do anything, contacted hotels.com, no help either. Contacted management company, they offered 20% off from a future booking. This is nonsense. On top of this there is no house keeping - you don't get the room cleaned, no fresh towels, etc. And to top it off, you don't get MGM Rewards points, even for various items charged to the room. This is a SCAM, stay away and never ever book with "StripViewSuites". Scammers!!

We really enjoyed, the proximity to the strip. Our view of the Sphere and Bellagio Fountain Show, was top tier. I would definitely stay there again; with access to sister hotels, dining options was great.
