Atzavara Hotel & Spa

Godt og børnevenligt hotel. Mange aktiviteter (shows etc for børn). Lækkert pool område. Generelt nyt og lækkert hotel. Vi havde dog nogle udfordringer ift kommunikation med receptionen.. og måske lidt 'storcenter' agtig følelse (ikke vores yndlings 5* hotel, mangler lidt på finish/service og hygge). Men generelt godt

This hotel is fantastic for families! We went with friends and their families and had a wonderful time! From the spacious and clean rooms to the sensational buffet. The activities for kids in the kids club and the entertainment at night were varied and fun. There are loads of pools and we had no problem finding loungers together for our large group. Waiter service around the pool would be a great addition to this hotel as it was very minimal.

Séjour fantastique, l’hôtel dispose de tout, on a pas envie de sortir quand on a les pieds dedans, nous avions pris une suite et pas déçu du tout, elle est top. Les piscines, le personnel, les restaurants et l’incroyable buffet!!

Relaxing treatment. Grisell the therapist was professional and welcoming, attentive to all my needs. The room contributed to the relaxing ambiance with music and scent and was fresh clean. Would recommend.

We stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed it. We needed a relaxing vacation and that is what we got! The breakfast is amazing and we also ate at Bamboo Restaurant! We really enjoyed our overall stay!

Loud music during the evenings. Buffet looks better than it tastes

Positives Really nice food. We had breakfast included and lots of good choice every day. We also tried the buffet twice and found this to be excellent too. Very high standard hotel and rooms with some very nice bars, especially the one by reception Excellent pool options with lots of Sun loungers available all day. Staff very pleasant and always saying hola around the complex. Also dealt with any issues we had as best they could We had a triple junior suite, so one of the more expensive rooms, with a large balcony. Not sure the room was worth the upgrade from what we could see of the standard rooms. Some very nice restaurants in the area, including the Maui beach bar and Bali Great local market on Tuesday too which is well worth a visit Shops nearby such as Lidl and carrefour which came in handy Took a day trip on train (station is a few mins from hotel) to both Barcelona and also visited Pineda del mar (1 stop away) . Trains were a bit unpredictable and crowded but cheap tickets and a good bonus of being in Santa susannah Downsides Hotel next door - Don angel - seemed to have some form of party of event on most days that involved music which was far too loud then necessary and meant any time we wanted to spend relaxing on our balcony was limited. Music also went on to near midnight most nights despite reception saying the agreed cut off was 10am. We also found some guests let young kids run around the hotel until all hours of the day. Felt quite a European hotel with very few English guests that we spotted. Real mix of Dutch, German, French and Spanish from what we could tell We are not party -poopers but didn’t realise this resort was like this from what the travel agent told us. Quite a few bars down the main road has signs saying they went on to 6am, yet we hardly saw any young groups or hen/stag parties there Overall we enjoyed this hotel but couldn’t go to 5 stars due to the issues with the hotel; next door. Appreciate this is not their direct fault but would hope they have agreements in place to manage this rather than needing to get the police involved every time. For the price of our room, we felt we were quite unlucky to get put on yjos side of the hotel, as there were probably similar rooms in much nicer areas of the hotel which would have mitigated this issue Would also say the resort itself is a bit mixed. Very nice in places and has potential; but some areas felt unfinished or like a variation on the run down English seaside resorts like Blackpool

Botanic Restaurant is first class & a hidden gem. Salmon with salted caviar, raspberry sauce & popping candy. Inspired & delicious. Unfortunately you have to have pay for the Bamboo hotel.

Big hotel, not sure it's a 5 star, but it was ok. Room's are nicely decorated but missing basic things like a hook to hang up your towel. Staff service is mixed, some really good, some not the level a 5 star hotel should be. Lots of families with young children.
