We are currently staying at the Atzavara hotel, it is one of the most unwelcoming hotels we have ever stayed at where absolutely everything is an effort for the staff. On top of that during the first three days of our stay our toilet began to leak all over the bathroom floor in the morning. We of course reported this straight away to reception expecting it to be prioritised. Unfortunately we came back in the afternoon after being by the pool to find nothing had been done and toilet water was all over the floor. After complaining again it did get resolved but it shouldn’t be that hard for a basic hygiene and health and safety issue to be resolved. Moving on from this issue when returning from an evening walk with the family we stopped at reception and asked if the Bamboo Rooftop bar was open to residents and we were told it was. On arrival we were told in no uncertain terms the Bamboo Roof Top Bar was closed with no apologies or acknowledgement of a mistake by the hotel, we were simply sent away. Now either an advertised hotel facility is available to guests or it isn’t! I don’t remember the hotel notifying me it would be closed certain days so they could make even more money and subsequently offering me a refund on my holiday. I complained to the bar manager who did absolutely nothing and have raised a compliant with the hotel. Seriously there are nicer, friendlier 5stars hotels out there do not waste your money at the Atzavara

Nice hotel, entertaining cocktail workshop & macrame workshop. Very clean rooms and pool area. Restaurant in buffet style, can be a bit busy.

Our experience was good overall, with some things being very good and others being a disappointment. Almost every time we attempted to call reception from our room we could not get through. The adult only pool regularly had children swimming in it, and it was difficult to find sun beds as people would leave their towels from early in the morning. The gym had some pro workout equipment, but only very light free weights available which were locked in a cupboard. The things we enjoyed the most were the restaurants (including the buffets), the roof top pool (although this was an additional charge), the spa, the rooms, some of the areas in the hotel which look lovely, easy access to car park, and some of the staff members who were helpful. The hotel is very big, and depending on where your room is, a lot of walking may be required to get to the lifts or reception. In some ways this felt more like a 4 star than a 5 star. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are areas that the hotel could improve in.

We arrived as a large group of families, everything was excellent, quality of service and cleanliness. Very nice staff in all departments, highly recommended.

Serviço péssimo, trocaram nosso quarto. A comida do room service é horrível. Se você questiona algum funcionário sobre algo que não está funcionando, dizem que não podem fazer nada e o diálogo termina assim. Fujam desse hotel Se não quiserem transformar suas férias em Pesadelo
