Villa Tesoro

The views from the room were stunning! The room was immaculately clean and tidy. Check in was very easy out of hours with instructions from the friendly staff. Washer and dryer worked well. Shared kitchen/dining was really well set up with everything you need. There were two inflatable spa pools on the shared terrace but we didn’t use them.

There is very limited parking on the street. Parking garage is a few streets away.

Everything from room to kitchen is clean and well equipped. Beautiful view to sea and to the city. Exceptional experience. The host was very kind and helpful.

We had room 3 which did have a sea view and comfy bed.

First of all it’s hundreds of steps from positano. Even the bus to Amalfi is down 3 flights of stairs. I asked about leaving luggage early and didn’t get a response til the day of arrival. No swimming pool so the pictures are false advertisement, just two cold inflatable hot tubs one with not very clean water. Then the sliding door to room 3 would not close and we spent an hour trying to get someone to come and fix it to be told no one could come today! We questioned how we could go to sleep with the door wide open and how we could leave our things on our room to go for dinner. We were told our things would be fine. We finally convinced the owner to get someone to fix the door which they did. Then to be sent a 200€ bill and told we’d slammed open the food and broken it. The owner never came to see the door so how they can try and charge us with a bill is unbelievable and something I have never experienced in many decades of booking on booking.com. Another couple complexioned about a room that was damp and smelt. Avoid I’m sure there are plenty of better places!

We were lucky, only people there so had place to ourselves. Room 5 (best of them all) has replaced the lounge so it’s huge, Samsung TV, sofas, door into huge kitchen. You have to go onto the terrace for the sea views. Rooms 1-3 upstairs smaller with sea views.

There was NO POOL. Replaced by 2 jacuzzis which didn’t look inviting. Pictures no longer represent the villa. All in all a very odd set up. Avoid Room 4 one level down, looked dark and dank.

I booked this accomodation for the pool and to spend the night with view, being 6 months pregnant I knew I would not be able to make it down the steep stairs to the beach. HOW CAN YOU CHARGE PEOPLE WITH THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY AND NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH THE VACATION EXPERIENCE THEY ARE LOOKING FOR? I am literally crying. I travelled from Canada to come all the way to the Amalfi coast, and we had 1 night booked in Positano to experience a private and romantic night with my husband. Don't RISK your vacation, check on GOOGLE Reviews and please please please spend the extra $$$ and book anywhere else.

Nouthing the property is very unclean and horrible nouthing like the pictures

There's no pool as advertised and the jacuzzis are so dirty we took the covers off and there were bugs everywhere and loads of dirt. The room descriptions are all false. No room with a view,very unclean bugs and spiders all over the hotel room,missing door in the shower and spider webs in the jacuzzis with a rotten smell. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

No parking… when you are by car it’s a problem to find place to park your car near by… it was a little bit cold during the night, but the view in the morning was amazing :)
