Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Batavia

Simple notes: * It was exactly what I needed for a quick turn from a concert at Darien. * I checked in before, it was quick, easy and the right level of interaction - pleasant and helpful with light chatting but not too much * The room was standard which was perfect. Clean, nice layout and as comfy. * Breakfast was good. It had enough options for different moods or preferences. I don't recall seeing a fridge or microwave mentioned on the website but they were in the room which is probably good to know ahead if you want to plan on snacks since that opens up your options. Perfect for what I needed.

Everything was very nice. Pool, gym, location to Kingdom Bound and stores is excellent. Staff all extremely friendly.

Our shower didn't drain well, so you stood in inches of water while you showered. Breakfast was very busy and slow to refill but good. We found a long brown hair in between two sausage patties we took. Please follow heath guidelines and have staff wear hair nets. The nice man preparing the food each day had long brown hair. He did a good job otherwise. The walls in our bathroom had dirt marks and there was sticky stuff all over the headboard and air conditioner unit. Little things that I feel were obvious and should have been cleaned. We still enjoyed our stay and would like to rebook with you next year for the same event. We appreciated the easy check in and out.

Breakfast was very nice. Very clean. Food was hot and tasted good. Nice large seating area. The rooms stayed cool all night - big plus in the summer. The rooms were clean. The shower was nice. Check in and out was a breeze.

There was some noise between rooms, could faintly hear the tv in the next room. It wasn't enough to be disturbing though.

Check-in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the location and the quietness of the hotel. If you have a normal diet (no allergies like me) then this breakfast looked delicious!! All in all would recommend!!

I am handicap and asked the desk Cleark when checking in if the rom had a tub. He said yes and immediately put us in a room that was shower accessible. He was very friendly and suggested us a great place to go eat in town, where the locals go. The breakfast had a very nice selection with very fresh fruits. The room was very clean and fresh smelling, and the bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that could have been better, the pool was on the cool side to the point I was not able to stay very long. After a long days drive I was hoping for a relaxing soak.

I did like my room but the pool area had ants all around the pool and a lot of spiders as well ass the gym area

Check in was easy, it’s right off the thruway which is convenient. Beds were comfy .

Chips on the floor next to the AC unit and ants all over them.. told front desk and all she replied with was “thank you “
