Westview Motel

Great budget motel, had what we needed for the night. Was clean just an older place to stay.

The couple that own this were so helpful and welcoming. We called at 11 pm unable to drive any further they were amazing and the room was dated but immaculately cleaned. The husband walked to our room to show us where it was. So hospitable and kind. I would stay here anytime.

The management at this motel are beyond rude and unprofessional, and they like to go back on what they say. We were told a price that was written down and they did not stay to their word. Also if you give them your credit card just to hold your room, they charge that card as soon as you give them the information. The sign outside says $58 & up, we were apparently in a $99 room, that was so outdated, we used the oven and kept the door open because all we could smell was propane, the beds were small and uncomfortable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you are looking for a hotel that is nice, accommodating and professional, I would highly recommend going down the road to the Garden Inn!!!

We were in Vegreville to attend a hockey tournament in Mundare. Esther allowed us to check in a bit early so that we did't have any conflicts with the hockey times. The room was spotless. She was so helpful and friendly. The motel is not new but very well cared for

Absolutely great value for the price. A/c, clean, comfortable, hot shower, tv, cable wifi (sort of), park if front of your door, friendly helpful owner, great food across the street, gas and convenience store nearby

You get what you pay for and it is perfectly fine. Owner Daniel eager to help and prime location. Internet was about as stable as a jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle! Close to good restaurants and convenience store right across the street.

Motel us out of the 70s . Everything was old and could use a major renovation. Radiator covers were falling off, sink had stickers to cover some of the rusty sink. Extension plugged into extension was a fire hazard. Had to unplug the tv to plug in the microwave. I think they clean the unit the best they could but was just too old . Room was 12 x 12 with one double bed so room was tight. If you are on a budget and not bothered by the above this place is for you. Flat screen tv was about 19 inches very small.

Please realize hat this is a very inexpensive motel, so don't go comparing it to a $139/night hotel! For what you are paying this motel is excellent value. They keep it clean, the rooms are a good size, it was quiet, the bed was comfortable and the service was really great.

The cleanliness of the room and being able to use the bath tub. Good size fridge.Good recommendation for a supper restaurant Was very impressed with the cleanliness for an obviously older motel. The owner was really friendly and helpful and had no problem with me checking out an hour late.

The reason I am giving this motel a terrible review is because of its customer service. I didn't actually stay here, though I made a reservation and cancelled within 30 min and kept well outside of the 48hr cancellation policy. However, because they had my credit card info they charged me anyways for 1 night because they told me I hadn't cancelled at all. The owner, whom I made the reservation with and cancelled with, called me a liar and that he was going to charge me anyways and that I had to provide him proof that I cancelled. And sure enough, called my credit card company and he has charged me, even though I cancelled well before 48 hrs. His English wasn't very good which I suspect added to our problems. So I don't recommend staying here if there is any chance you have to cancel because even if you do, he'll pretend he didn't understand you and charge you anyways.
