Westview Motel

Room is clean and comfortable, just need a sleep on route to Edmonton. Have stayed a few times now. The owners are accommadating and courteous. The rooms I have stayed in is a bit dated but it is all I need.

There were a group of us travelling together and the room I was assigned had bedding covers that was stained and when stripping off the cover I found that the mattress also was badly stained. The bathtub was old and peeling. Everyone else's room seemed to be fine but mine.

It would be easy to drive by this motel without a second thought but something drew me back. Maybe it was the sign that read "Rooms from $58". Lol .I try to frequent Mom & Pop motels rather than the chains because they usually work harder to make a guest feel welcome. This gracious Korean couple did not disappoint! My room was obviously renovated as it felt more like an apartment than a motel room. Very classy! I felt very comfortable and safe. Every room has a chair outside to relax if one is so inclined. There is free wifi, flat screened TV, free toiletries, microwave and fridge, & A/C. Some rooms have kitchenettes but I didn't need one. It is on the main drag of Vegreville but in a nice neighborhood. My room faced the neighborhood= #17! The remote control system was rather mysterious. I asked the owner to explain it to me but instead he dropped everything to demonstrate how it worked . I was most grateful. I'm somewhat technologically inept! lol I have every intention of staying there again in the future when I roll through this delightful small town!

We spent Sept 19th 2015 in this motel and I must say that it was very clean and the manager was very polite and even called our room shortly after we checked in to ensure that we were happy with the room. The manager gave us one of the rooms at the back of the motel as the front rooms face the main drive through in the town. I would highly recommend this motel. Price wise it is about the same as other places we have stayed at this time of the year. You have to spend about $100 a night.

I booked a room and said I had a pet the price of room went from 85 to 151.51. then they added another 100 dollaras for pet fee charged to a different card. Besides that room was old style. it would be nice if manager can speak English??

We usually look for the basic motel where you get a clean bed and bathroom and can back up to the door. At first appearance the West-View Motel fit the bill, but once we walked into the lobby things changed. The decore of the lobby is very nice, and as a result we paid about $15 more for the room than those without a nice lobby. Somebody has to pay for it.! LOL Too bad the room wasn't as nice. It was as expected but the price was pumped up. The sign says "from $58" but we paid $99

Was looking for week-end getaway that was close and well priced. After much looking around I found out about the West-View. No website, but a few decent reviews from a few different sites, so I figured to take a chance. Great, Wonderful surprise. Clean, large, quiet, king bed, fireplace, comfortable two person jacuzzi room. $139. The price was the best surprise of all!

Room was very small. Clean but a funny odor. Not as impressive as the reviews I read. Tub drained very poorly. Price on sign says 58.00 but I really dont know what room that would be as our room was 100.00 +.

We have stayed here twice in the last month and both times found the rooms exceptionally clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. It included a microwave and fridge that were a good size. Nothing fancy, but just a good place to spend a night at a reasonable price.

The West View Motel was very marginal but was available so we stayed. We were in a back unit so traffic not a big concern. The room we were in was very "tired" needing lots of work/updating but I kind of think the motel generated a good income for the owners (family). Price of room was directly related to the quality.
