GBAlthough the bar was busy our room was very quiet. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
The cooked breakfast was good but the buffet part had no fresh fruit, only tinned peaches so was a bit disappointing.
GBGBStaff were friendly and welcoming. Food was really good. We found the historical photos and information on the walls and within the building interesting. The hotel is in a lovely area for walking and we walked in to neighbouring Aberfoyle.

USWe used this hotel as a base between Stirling Castle and Glengoyne Distillery and had a rental car. This worked fine for us, but to stay here, a car is necessary. Gartmore is a charming village in the middle of countryside. The room and ensuite bathroom were excellent, spacious and quiet. Dinner was delicious, breakfast choices were many and also delicious. The hotel is charming and the staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it to those with cars.
