Hotel The Villa

Affordable no frills hotel close to public transportation. Good for a quick stay. I would stay here again if in the area.

Got locked out and had to be put in a new room with none of our things.

It was fine. Sketchy part of town coming from the subway at night, but the hotel was fine

I would never book this hotel again

An OK place at an affordable price. I took my family to see the Macy’s fireworks on 4th of July. We only spent nights at the hotel, it’s a basic hotel and has all you need, you get what you pay for. The neighborhood Queens is not my favorite, and the zone looks sketchy but we never felt unsafe. It’s location is really close to a train station

There aren't any staff on the premises besides the cleaning person- so there was definitely confusion trying to get in. I also don't mind terrible walking up 4 flights of stairs but it was hard to get my luggage up and down the stairs

The staff was was very welcoming , He update the rate accordingly, inside the property entrance needed a better cleaning around.

The staff were nice. There was a young lady there who was friendly and helpful. But literally my room wasn’t cleaned properly. My first day I walked in I saw a Dorito chip crumb near my bathroom door. My bath towel had hair on it and my toilet didn’t seem to flush properly. Also there was no mini fridge in my room until my last night staying there. Plus my remote didn’t work. It’s a neat hotel , newly renovated but those things made it not a good experience for me. Other than that it would’ve been a great stay. It’s near a sub station which is a plus. And it’s a few restaurants up the street from it. The locals don’t bother you either .

The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasantly and efficient. Easy check in and check out.
