Hotel Forty Five, Macon, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Everything was amazing!! Hotel 45 is top knotch and in a great location!!! I would highly recommend.

Great room with huge bathroom. Restaurant and Rooftop Bar are wonderful. Food is great.

Lack of parking

A unique boutique property that I would stay at again.

We have stayed before & enjoyed the rooftop bar as well as the restaurant. The chef made a brisket burger paired with Jack Daniels & it was delicious as well as breakfast the next morning. Great service as well

Pros: We visited the Hotel Forty Five in April 2025 when we were in town to attend a concert at the Macon City Auditorium. The location is perfect for anyone attending events there, as it is right across the street. There are also some good local restaurants nearby within walking distance, so the location is really nice. The hotel has a lot of charm and I would surely pick this over most any hotel in the area for this fact alone. The staff at the counter was first rate. Check in was quick and the parking attendant was kind and helpful. The rooms were also great. Due to the unique set up of being an old office building, our room had windows on two sides and a very nice modern walk-in shower with huge bathroom space (which also with a window). I truly loved the rooms and the fact that we had just 8 rooms on a floor (i think ?). Any way, its tall but not a very big hotel. Very comfortable and cozy. Semi Con: The rooftop bar was also a nice perk. Great set up and I was planning to have good meal and my fare share of drinks after the show, but the bar which closed at 11, stopped serving food at 10 just as I arrived. The male bartender acted like i was a fool to expect food ----- but come on ---- they didnt have nuts or chips or anything to munch on. Probably not a great idea when serving booze. And sorry but at $15 per drink, I expect something I can buy to snack on. So based on this, I just bought one beer and called it a night. Con: And this leads to my only other negative comment. The hotel had no 'Cantina' in the lobby, and no snack machines in the entire hotel ??? So when the restaurant closes, and you get hungry after 10pm.... guess your have to get in your car or order out. This was just odd decision making by the hotel. Really unusual. At the end of the day I would surely stay here again. Its a really nice hotel. But next time ill pack my own snacks and/or make plans to eat earlier.

Food at Reckon was great. Staff were super helpful and attentive.

Valet parking is pricy and a little inconvenient.
