It is still considered comfortable for a family of 4.

The parking is very difficult to find and to carry the luggage through the steep slope to the place is an absolute nightmare. The tatami area was very dirty, seems like there was no cleaning here.

"A lovely quiet apartment in Gora"

The location was a great base to explore Hakone. The vibe of the area is relaxed, quiet holiday style. The house is a nice mix of traditional and modern, with the option of sleeping in bunks or on tatami mats.

It is a. very small space for 4 adult people with luggage, but this was not surprising. There was no tea or coffee provided in the kitchen supplies. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook food but we would have used tea bags or coffee if it was provided.
