Avrupa Palace Hotel

When I booked the room I was expecting okey standard, but when I riveted in midnight I was in shock. The room was awful, dirty and bed smell smoke. I change Hotell next day.

To put it simply, value for money. Location wise, a bit far from the main attractions, e.g., grand bazaar, blue mosque, etc. Main mains of transport, for someone like us (3 adults, 2 kids, x2 families), was taxi (which is a bit uneconomic). Apart form that, kids loved it, especially water park (Aqua Dolphin 16 mins away by taxi). Nearest shopping about 15 mins walk, its a bit hot, but enjoyable.

Its a good location, with lots of local shops, restaurants, burger king about 10 mins walk, but for someone like us with kids, it'd be more comfortable to stay closer to the main attraction sites. But then again, we could not find an alternative means of transport to get to the only Istanbul water park, except by taxi.
