Holiday Inn Express - Huntsville Space Center by IHG

Great location for what we needed, just one night so that we could start the next day in the early morning to go to the US Space and Rocket Center, just 3' away by car.

Breakfast was not that very healthy, hoped for more fruit. But for those with hungry and a good stomach, it was okay (bacon, eggs, bakery stuff, toasts...).

Breakfast was pretty extensive and well managed and good tasting. Rooms were clean, liked the toileteries provided such as soap etc. Microwave and refrigerator in room was helpful. Location was good - right next to rocket center.

Trash removal happened at 4 am in morning - heard a loud bang of the dumpster - hope that was one off thing. Heater was good overall, but it took a while for room to warm up,although it did warm up and didn't hinder any sleep.

Convenient location. Nice breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

One of our two double beds seemed to have pillows and sheets that weren’t freshly washed. There was a stale smell on the cases and a fairly large yellow stain on the sheet. We were tired and ready for sleep so we both slept in one bed which was fine.

Clean, smelled good in lobby and hallways!

Shower floor in desperate need of scrubbing. It was dirty!

Location was convenient to where we needed to go the next morning.

We arrived at 9:20pm to locked front doors and no one staffing the front desk. We waited 15 min before a guest walking by opened the door to let us in. We waited another 15 minutes before a staffer walked up to check us in. 5 min elapsed while we tried to open our door (the lock didn’t work) and we returned to an unattended front desk. We waited another 30 minutes before the staffer returned to help us. Absolutely atrocious customer service.
