Villa Liberte Hakone Gora

Wonderful place. Loved the onsen, well equiped kitchen.

We had trouble with a heater in one room but the hosts were quick to advise on how to fix that problem.

Bathing area us pretty big for private bath.

Some parts of the house is too cold

The house was surprisingly big with a lot of rooms. All rooms bedrooms had air conditioning. The bathtub was quite nice. Internet was also good. Good location if you plan on taking the clockwise Hakone loop. It has information on ordering food to the house from a local restaurant if you arrive to the house at night and can't make it to Gora for dinner.

The house had a fair amount of damage in certain rooms/floors during our stay. Stairs were creaky with noticeable gaps, there were some rips in the doors and some peeling veneer. The house would be 9+ rating if these were fixed.

After staying in Tokyo this place was amazing for our family because of the space alone! The property is around an 8min walk from the end of the Hakone Pass cablecar and the ropeway connection. It rained most of our stay but there is a nice outdoor table set and a lot of japanese anime comics (in Japanese) in a lovely takana room with bean bags. Kitchen is well stocked except i couldnt find a knife but theres a lot of plates, bowls etc etc. The bathtub was amazing on the cold days. Would def recommend for larger groups or families in need of stretching their legs a little! The only other thing to note is that it gets pretty quiet around the area so have a dining plan prepared for arrival. I do think check in could be slightly earlier but the email did say you could store luggage from midday.

3階建てで1階はリビングとキッチン。キッチンも広くてみんなでわいわい料理することが出来ました。リビングにはダイニングテーブルと大きなソファーとTV。11人での使用でしたがゆったりした時間を過ごせました。2階は大きなテラスと寝室。夏場の軽い雨だったのでテラスでBBQしました！テーブルと椅子など大人数用揃ってるのでのびのび楽しめました。ただテントとかあったら良かったですね！3階の寝室は旅館みたいになっていて雰囲気良かったです！お風呂は3.4人で入れるほど大きなお風呂で本当良かったです。管理者さんもとても親切な方でお風呂の貯め方や注意点など事前に連絡下さり助かりました。とてもいい宿舎でした！！また利用したいです！ 事前に行き方のマップまで頂いてたのですが、すっかり忘れててGoogleマップで住所入れて行ったのですが迷いました。のうのう箱根というホテルの真裏です！

I recommend the host air out the house beforehand. It smelled damp, dusty and musty. Also it would benefit from having more comfortable seating in the living room (there is only a low-backed couch), better instructions for heating, and a coffee maker with coffee.

The iPad registration form was difficult.

Absolutely the best place we stayed in all of Japan while on vacation. They have delivery for dinner! Make sure to order by 7PM and relax in the onsen afterwards! Beds are 10/10 and stay is easy
