Quality Inn - On The Lake Clarksville-Boydton

Loved the location of the room. Very comfortable king bed. Beautiful view out of the terrace. The hotel is located right across the street from McDonald’s. Just a walk away from downtown Clarksville. The town was hustling a bustling around 1pm with Christmas spirit. It was almost like being in a hallmark movie. The hotel is also right next to the Bridgewater Grill (super good by the way).

The floors were a little dirty. Didn’t realize it till I was walking around barefoot and was cleaning up in the shower. Just from walking the room. We ate the complementary breakfast only once. The waffles were sour and the syrup tasted like straight sugar.

The room smelt like an old house basement. You could see the painted over water damage in the bathroom. The shower head dripped. At times it sounded like someone was coming thru the wall. Other guests very loud. We also had to pay a $100 "damage deposit" that we got back when we checked out however guy the guy checking us out didn't even mention it we had to go I wonder how many other people they have ripped off.

The staff was great! We and many other family members stayed in town in this hotel for a family members wedding. A lot of us cancelled our booking at another hotel for fear of cleanliness. Unfortunately a lot of my family members had roaches in their room. I had one in the bathroom but stuffed my anxiety down as there were no other options. Hopefully they can get that sorted out as it is know through out the bed and breakfast locations that this is a big issue with the 2 hotels in town.
