Hotel Amatte San Miguel de Allende

Beautiful property with modern sleek design yet with authentic Mexican feel. Great staff and good food. They could improve the sound insulation and add a chair to the deluxe studios as there isn't any sitting area inside the room other than the bed. The shower area is huge, you can easily fit 4 people and rain shower is out of this world.

Los exteriores del hotel son extraordinarios. La decoracion de las habitaciones y calidad son muy bajas para el costo de las mismas. Tienen problemas con la limpieza de las habitaciones. Deben de cuidar ese tema.

Beautiful property. The people were incredibly nice and taxis were easy to grab and affordable to the center of town. The rooms were very nice. The bed was a little firm. The pool was in the middle and it was too awkward and a little cold to swim. Also there is no hot tub, which would have been nice. The restaurant on the main level is nice and more affordable. The upper rooftop is breathtaking and the mussels were delicious. The view is incredible but the prices were much higher. Overall it was a really good hotel. It also has a service to pick you up from the airport, which was very helpful. The nicest people are there!

the hotel was furnished very luxurious and with very nice little details. the room service was perfect and twice a day in the room. the hotel looks in general very fancy and has a huge rooftop with bars and restaurants.

unfortunately the pool has just four loungers which are almost the whole day in the shadow. So there is no chance to lie at the pool in the sun. the rooftop would be perfect for a relaxing zone and some loungers but instead there are five bars which is definitely too much.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great service from everyone. Not in downtown but shuttle bus is are always around.

Dirty rooms. The bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. They had sweeped it and just re-done the bed. Common practice at this place as they upgraded me and when I checked the second bed it was ALSO DIRTY. Yellow stains and hairs all over the bed sheets. Shower was mouldy. Manager who is a woman, I think her name was Elena, is useless and can’t come up with a competent answer or solution after such an embarrassing and disgusting finding. Barely slept the first night thanks to the fact that I had to change rooms in the middle and both were dirty, sheets had to be changed, suitcases had to be moved etc. Asked for a reimbursement of the first night and they led me on until the end of my stay and later on IGNORED. Refrain from coming here or have a strong flash light to check your hostal quality bed as their purposely dimmed lights in the room camouflage everything.
