One of the best hotels in Gothenburg. Truly an amazing place with a great roof top spa, outdoor pool. The lobby is always a buzz with people and great service from the staff.

This hotel is huge on the stunning on entry. I had booked a reservation at Archie’s but walked in and was empty, then was told by one of the diners that it was in the bar opposite. The bar staff sat me down and gave me a menu, they were friendly and welcoming. The prawn linguine came quickly and was lovely! The cava was lush. Albin served me and told me a bit about Sweden and Gothenburg, he was great and so friendly!! I went upstairs to the bar on the 26th floor, such a spot and vibe!! Defo will come back here again!

After all the hype and the difficulty in making a booking, we finally managed to secure a reservation on our 13th wedding anniversary. We arrived at the restaurant with high expectations, eager to enjoy the view. The food was amazing; every dish we ordered was delicious. However, the staff lacked customer care and friendliness. One staff member even threw the bill onto the table, which felt quite intimidating. Given this experience, I’m left wondering if the meal was worth the money we paid. I’m sure there are plenty of other great restaurants around Gothenburg that offer excellent service for half the price.

Det lilla rummet är..väldigt litet. Saknar vanity kit och vattenkokare på rummet. Lysande frukost med gott om alternativ för alla smaker och eventuella kostregimer. Många trevliga inslag, såsom SPA, pool, pingis, golfsimulator m.m.

Extremt mysiga rum och en absolut fantastiskt vy. Har varit i 40 länder och varit i många 5 stjärniga hotell men demna slår alla. Enda hotellet som var lika bra är Atlantis i Dubai för ca 7000kr natten.

Rummet var stort,fint med fin utsikt och bra städat. Sängen va tyvärr väldigt oskön, man kände fjädrarna och den kändes väldigt billig. Frukosten va bland dom sämsta jag ätit tyvärr, riktigt dåligt utbud. Tex ingen gröt, bara en sorts yoghurt och en sorts skinka. Vi valde detta hotell mycket pga utepoolen, den va tydligen gratis för allmänheten vilket kändes otroligt konstigt. De va kö till solsängarna så de fick man vänta på i 1-2 timmar. Spat ingick vilket va bra. Det va ingen som frågade när vi checkade ut vad vi tyckte om vistelsen så därför skriver jag här.

On entering the hotel it is very swish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, very comfy bed, one small thing the room and bathroom have floor to ceiling windows and the bathroom has no blinds or nets, we were quite certain it wasn’t mirrored glass and although we were on the 12th floor we could happily wave to the builders on the roof opposite and see the people in the offices across the street. It’s a very bizarre feeling sitting on the loo looking out across the city!! There is a few nibbles and drinks to buy in your room but no tea and coffee facilities. There is a hairdryer and steamer, robe and flip flops for the spa. Although the spa is very relaxing and luxurious it is only a couple of pools and a sauna. There are lots of comfy loungers and beds to relax on, with open log fires and fabulous views from the 27th floor. We booked our session for 3.15 and so had 100’s of others. They do let far too many people in on a session. There is a bar for drinks and snacks. You can only get treatments Friday to Sunday which was a shame as we were there Sunday to Wednesday and didn’t know till Monday! Pam’s outdoor pool is great, again fab loungers, bar and open until 10pm. The food is amazing, there is everything you want for breakfast, although the bacon is a bit dodgy! We ate in the bar one night which was yummy and again the staff were friendly and chatty. The food and drinks are quite expensive. The amount of seating in Archie and the bar area is fabulous, lots of comfy sofas and seats for relaxing in. 20 minute walk into the city, we did a river cruise which was interesting. There are hop on and off buses and bus tours also. Taxi…. DO NOT GET A TAXI OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT, we did and it cost us £60. Get the BOLT app which is the same as an Uber going back was £17 and it is only 30 mins drive. Overall our stay was fabulous we only marked it down one star because of the spa.
