Julio was a great host, he prepared us a delicious traditional cocoa drink and gave us a warm welcome! Loved our short stay there.

This is a one of a kind, amazing experience. I strongly recommend adding on the “chocolate ceremony.” You make chocolate from cacao beans, start to finish. Elda and Julio are amazing hosts who make this an unforgettable experience.

The friendly owners, comfortable beds, and very unique architecture with the cabanas of stone and palapa roof made this stay very nice. There was a small refrigerator in the room which was very convenient, and coffee could be had after 8:00. They cooked us an excellent dinner one night. There is no sign on the main road so it's important to use Google Maps and look for the small driveway west of the house by the power lines. We saw no mosquitos in January. The cenotes we had all to ourselves were delightful!

Aldea Maya-ha was one of the most unique stays I have ever had. The owner and his staff were all very nice and super helpful. The property is very cool and contains 2 cenotes. I swam in one! The first night there was an issue with a barking dog, the owner assured me he would check on this, and the second night was very quiet and peaceful. The beds are very firm, a little bit too firm for me. There was a mini fridge that I could use for drinks. The surprising part of this place is the food. The owner’s wife is a chef, and the food is as good as you would find in any top restaurant. I had the best fish tacos I have ever eaten, and the next morning, incredible Chilaquiles. While I received a menu via WhatsApp from one of the staff when i arrived, when I spoke with the owner, they were many other things he could make that were not on the menu. I recommend talking to him about it. He mentioned several desserts as well. unfortunately, I did not get to try the dessert, but the food was so good. I am planning to go back just to eat, even though I will not be staying! All in all, I enjoyed staying here – it was relaxing. I brought my little dog and he loved it. Would be a very fun place to be with a group, and the owner can customize an experience.

Amazing secluded place beautifully created. Symbiotic with nature, the place is remarkable, but not overstated or over the top.

the total atmosphere was superb. is was beautifully located in the jungle, everything was built with great care to preserve the atmosphere and the cenotes were unique. The staff was very friendly and the airport could be reached easily.

Great vibe altogether! The site is gorgeous and the cabañas are spatious and comfortable. Very peaceful place.
