The Rock House failed me. Although it was nice it did not meet my expectations. Let me start off by staying the staff was wonderful at the pool, beach and Vita's. My issues started the day I arrived, I wasn't offered a welcome drink until I mentioned I was comparing them to the West Bay Club we stayed there back in 2023. Nothing special for my birthday although they requested to know if we were there to celebrate anything. We did arrived early but room wasn't ready until 3:00pm. We noticed the room was hot but was told the AC would kick in. I informed the housekeeper the room was still 80 degrees. Although the room was nice along with an amazing view it was still 80 degrees. The maintenance guy came stated he would come back this was around 8:00pm, he never came back. No one ever came back, bad service this room was over 1K a night. I called the front desk again around 10:00pm no one showed up. The heat put us to sleep we woke up at 1:00am wet from the sweat. I called the front desk again the gentleman that answered the phone wanted to get us out of our misery so he offered to switch our room at 1:30am. Why wasn't this offered prior. The room switch was a nightmare because it was only for that night and no one knew what to do when we woke up which delayed my birthday plans. Marley called with a solution but the manager switch it so frustrating. They gave us a 500.00 credit but I could've done without it I just wanted what I paid for. Probably will never go back.

This hotel is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous - breathtaking views and an amazing infinity pool. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We loved that breakfast was included and they were generous with portions. As far as service, I need to give Joan and Francesca a HUGE shoutout. They were so amazing, accommodating, solutions oriented and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. At the pool, both Ty and Jeff were so helpful and great. Outside of that, this hotel has a lot of work to do service wise. For the price, location and ambiance, we expected 10/10 service. I don’t think the issue is the actual people themselves - I think there is a leadership issue. The restaurant and pool service were super slow. We ended up walking with our luggage twice because the bellman didn’t come. Room service took 1.5 hours for a salad. Twice they ran out of Diet Coke. I also was able to meet the GM - I had some questions about the music by the pool - he went on a long diatribe about how they purposely don’t “play Mary j Blige or serve conch on their menu” because that’s not the vibe they are going for. He was very pretentious and stuffy - my advice to him would be to 1) listen to feedback from your guests, 2) embrace the incredible culture of Turks and 3) take better care of your staff. So - all in all, 4/5 stars because we LOVED the hotel itself. With better leadership and an open mind to listen to feedback from guests, service will improve, and this will be the best hotel in Turks.

It was a unique property with a beautiful pool and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Staff was 10/10. The room was good. Not over the top. We like how there was floor rather than carpet however the floor could have been cleaner. If you wore a pair of white socks they would end up very dirty. Wear the complimentary flip flops! Grace Bay was a $30 cab ride. We went to DelMar at The Strand which was very nice. Overall it was a great vacation.

March 2025, The Rock House was so amazing! We didn’t want to leave! Our Oceanfront two bedroom was so wonderful! The staff and amenities were so awesome! We had our own small infinity pool on our patio! It was so relaxing and private! Loved the experience of Turks and Caicos and will definitely be back! Amazing hotel!
