Rock House

Have stayed at Grace Bay in the past and much prefer Rock House location with being closer to the airport and more private. And although beach area smaller it was never overcrowded and plenty of room at both pool and beach for entire family. Plunge pool also well worth the spurge and overall great experience at Rock House and we will be back again!

It was a perfect place to relax, though we experienced mosquito bites on our first night. On our 3rd day, it rained a little, and the strong winds caused us to lose power. For a 5-star hotel, no generator? The staff is very friendly, and I hope they get the proper compensation & do not rely on customer tips. Lastly, I wonder if they are understaffed bec I have to call the desk several times before I get what we need, except when I asked someone to fix our TV, and no one ever came.

Absolutely gorgeous resort, loved the breakfast and everyone who works there is beyond friendly!

Without hesitation, ALL the staff members were amazing! There is fun shopping and restaurants all within 10-15 minutes!

The Rock House is a stunning and exclusive vacation property. That has stunning views of the Atlantic with crystal clear water with a limited beach front. Interior furnishings are not up to a 5 star level and the Bed Mattress was atrocious. Do not know the make but it felt as if it was a covered box spring with a plastic mattress cover. It crunched and crack with every move. A real plus was the kitchenette with a small Sub Zero Frig, Miele cooktop & Bosch Dishwasher. A small laundry room had a front-loading washer and dryer. The food in Vita and Cave Bar was soooo good we never went out to another restaurant even when we had our own car. Kudos to the Cave Bar staff....what great service. My biggest complaint is with the Housekeeping Department. They do not respond to requests in a timely manner. A simple request to make up our room while we were at breakfast ended up being completed at 3 PM in the afternoon. A second request had a better response time but still very late in the afternoon. Turn down service was inconsistent. Some days you got all towels for the next morning other times you were shorted some and nothing was touched on the patio lounge chairs. They keep saying that everything is on ISLAND TIME. Sometimes I think is a poor excuse for customer service. Not sure I would ever comeback when I believe there are better properties and resorts offering a truly 5-star experience in Mexico.

Everything was wonderful, clean, quiet, tranquil, and receptive. The rooms were nice and modern. The views were great. The weather was windier than expected which impacted available activities but amenities and experience were great.

The wifi went out the last few days which just stunk a little bit. Otherwise it was great. The complimentary breakfast was a nice add.

The property was beautiful. The service was top notch! Area was not really walkable and it’s lovstaway from the other resorts but if you are going for quiet and relaxation it’s great! The food was delicious as well
