It was amazing, will be back

We enjoyed this stay so much. I think we got the best room in the hotel, with a very large room and huge outdoor terrace. We paid for a bigger room but did not even realize the huge large terrace came with it. The breakfasts that came with our room choice was excellent. Looked forward to it every morning. Candies available at the front entrance were a nice treat. Quality candies. And the gym was adequate for those who do not want to miss their work outs, including with weights. Some reviews complain of the location, but we found it to be well placed geographically. It is in between the two major tourist areas (old downtown; and museum area the other side of bridge). The hotel itself is actually across the street from the National Museum of Ancient Art.

This is a beautifully curated hotel with standard, style and character on the finer end of Lisbon with waterside views and close to historic sites

Perfect stay

Cute, Quirky hotel. Small cozy room. In a not so desirable area. There might be a few restaurants walking distance but the dog feces on the sidewalk can be a turn off getting there!

needs improvement badly for breakfast choices. pastry and meat choices very sad.

The rooms were spacious and perfect, making it easy to get to the city center. However, I expected a better menu and tastier food. The appetizer was great, but the main entrees weren’t that impressive.

I stayed in a lot of hotels for my recent trip and this was my favorite. Nice room, friendly staff, great welcome gift. Great location. I was very happy with my stay.

Good pillows

When I checked in, I paid 178 euros for the room and 50 euros for the deposit. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and I knew that I would have to pay extra when I checked out. I told the reception staff about this. However, when they presented me with the bill, it was not only an additional 5 euros, but the full amount that I had already paid yesterday!!! They started saying that I had made a pre-authorization payment yesterday, and that I had to pay the full amount today. However, they did not refund the pre-authorized payment!! So they tried to charge my account twice. I'm glad that my bank doesn't allow charges without confirmation. They called a senior manager and resolved the issue, but my mood was already ruined. Be careful, this hotel is a scam.
