Lovely hotel with fantastic staff, great breakfast buffet. Was left a lovely birthday message on the room on my birthday

The hotel itself is new. The room is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. I did find the location a bit too far from everything. It is a solid 20 min walk to the main area. There also isn’t an outdoor area to enjoy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe and comfortable. I was even surprised with a note and a dessert delivered to my room. It’s a great hotel, I wish it was closer to the attractions.

Lisbon has been an incredible experience, and staying at The Emerald House made it even better. Adriana elevated our trip with five-star recommendations that allowed us to explore the city at the highest level, while Shah and Sam delivered top-tier service at the hotel’s café and restaurant. The location was perfect — central to everything I wanted to see — and the hotel’s aesthetic and ambiance set the tone for a memorable stay. From the design of the room to the overall atmosphere, Emerald House has been my favorite hotel experience so far during my trip through Europe.

Absolutely beautiful experience staying here. From the warm welcome to the engaging conversations with the staff, everything felt thoughtful and personal. The rooms were a haven, quiet, spacious, and luxuriously comfortable i.e. perfect for unwinding after exploring Lisbon. Breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, though it would be even better with a few more gluten-free and vegan options, along with a wider herbal tea selection for guests who prefer something lighter in the morning. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel both at home and pampered at the same time.

We really enjoyed our two stays at The Emerald House. We arrived for one night and then went to Porto the next day and then returned to the Emerald House for a few more nights. The hotel is well run and the front desk is great. Special thanks to Annabelle who was terrific. She helped get us into our room as soon as was possible and offered to hold some of our items for our return back. When she heard that we had an early flight back home, she arranged for a breakfast to go bag. The hotel itself is quite nice. The breakfast buffet is excellent (we were especially fond of the mushrooms). We also had a nice dinner there our last night (bifana to start and a good burger and fish). The room was clean with room darkening shades. The only drawback is that there is not a lot in close walking distance. But ubers were extremely easy to get and would arrive in 2 to 3 minutes. Would definitely go back.

Hotel novo, bonita decoração, funcionários muito atenciosos.

Eles fornecem duas garrafas de agua filtrada(a maioria dos hotéis, atualmente, coloca agua mineral nos aptos, como um “presente” ao hospede). Mas a agua filtrada fornecida tem um gosto muito ruim. A minha sugestão é ter disponível agua mineral no frigobar para quem quiser adquirir (o frigobar é vazio). A outra coisa que estranhamos foi a localização. Como costumamos ficar sempre na av. Liberdade, achamos muito distante dos nossos pontos de interesse.

The Emerald House in Lisbon is a very attractive hotel. The rooms and common spaces are clean, modern and stylish. The hotel is a 20-25 minute walk from central Lisbon. Nearby are some art museums, but otherwise the immediate neighborhood is quiet. This makes it perhaps not the ideal hotel for some tourists. In the past I have always stayed in central Lisbon and on this visit enjoyed being away from the tourist chaos. Breakfasts and cocktails were food. Am Ex benefits were very nice (breakfasts and room upgrade).
