Museum Apartments

The location is fantastic and the apartment is very clean.

Construction was in progress from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, every day. We were not made aware that such was the case. As overseas jet-lagged travellers we would have chosen alternative accommodations. We understand that the construction is not the responsibility of the property management company, however it remains their responsibility to be open and upfront about the situation. We notified them and were disappointed with the response we received. What could have been a great experience turned out to be a disappointing one.

The location, quality of decor.

Very noisy (heatwave time and Scotland football match in World Cup) so wanted to keep windows open. Aircon didn’t go below 21 degrees. Bathroom shower leaked over floor as it was a shower over bath.

Fantastic location but you do need earplugs to get a good nights sleep - hosts provided them - Very comfortable bed and excellent facitities all round - easy walking distance to most attractions - literally across the road from Greyfriars church

Could do with a lick of paint to bring it right up - the night life outside is loud - earplugs needed

The location is perfect and it is overall clean, safe and comfortable place.

The carpet is not very clean. Some dusts in it. And the blinds are not that effective so it is too bright at night for sleeping at this time of the year

Amazing location, right in the city opposite the museum and close to most of the major attractions/old town. Well presented and laid out apartment with fully featured kitchen, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Nice view too.

COVID era check in time of 3pm - not unique to this property but automatic deduction of one point for all who keep this policy in place, and no I won’t pay someone to store my bags. Heating a bit fiddly particularly if you just want the towel rail on, but works fine once sussed out and underfloor heating in bathroom a plus in winter I’d imagine. No decent parking option, but those are rare in city centres anyway and the train station is close by.
