Value for money. The home was very spacious and private with a generous outdoor compound. Manager in charge was very responsive. Seamless & flexible check in & out.

Not accessible to amenities. Luckily there was Grab service. They also prepared a very comprehensive book providing a list of in-house chef, massage & spa treatment, tour guide, transportation services, places to go etc. all available, just a call away.

Friendly courteous staff. Place was immaculate and kept clean daily. Site was a little off the beaten track, but it's what we wanted to be able to unwind.

Breakfast/chefs were great! Very nice and cooked yummy food. The cleaners were awesome and kept things clean. They were very helpful over what’s app if we needed anything.

The location was terrible for us. Cost a lot of money to get a driver to take you into Canggu everyday On a good day with not much traffic took about 20 minutes but on a busy day we took 40 minutes. The villa was very big and beautiful looking. It was tropical which was nice but when it rained it wasn’t a great build because bathrooms would flood and the dining area because the blinds aren’t able to stop the rain. The downstairs bathrooms flooded which wasn’t nice and the air con’s turned off a few times but the technician came out pretty quick and fixed them. A man knocked on our gate two times asking for money which put us off feeling not the safest.

Villa Matahari looked exactly like it did in the pictures, such a stunning villa. I loved the layout of the villa with the bedrooms (apart from 1) away from the main living areas. The pool area & garden is absolutely beautiful and so much space. The villa staff were so lovely & excellent communication if we ever needed anything :) Go to Lyma Beach which is a one minute walk from the Villa to an awesome beach bar, that became a regular for us.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like, I agree with one review about the mold smell in the 2 bottom bedrooms but it wasn’t to strong for me and with the aircon on it helped.

Privacy, good garden and layout. Impressive glass walls internally in living areas

Washing machine would be nice.

The photos uploaded does not do justice, the place looks so amazing. Having 5 bedrooms was just perfect for my family and I. The optional breakfast that we ordered from the villa was delicious. Pangji the villa operator helped me decorate a room and ordered a delicious chocolate cake for my sister’s mini birthday celebration. It’s also walking distance to Saser beach with beautiful sunset. Highly recommended!

The villa cleaners cleaned the property before we even left for our flight, which I think is not proper in our books - they should at least wait for us to leave and give us our privacy. The location is a little far from Seminyak and Kuta, requires a long drive. There might be friendly bugs and lizard that might visit you while you’re sleeping as the area is located among paddy fields. Hot water runs out quite fast.
