Villa Matahari Munggu 5BR

Amazing place for a large group of people who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The Villa staff are responsive, attentive, accomodating and super friendly.

Sounds from nearby construction start at 8am sharp.

The pool and pool area was perfect for a big group. The staff and drivers organised by the villa were amazing.

The down stairs bathroom opposite the kitchen smells, they have installed a fan in the bedroom to obviously help but it’s too loud to have on all night, the smell probably comes from the bathroom that floods about an inch all the way to the door when you have a shower, so you are walking through a puddle and have to place towels everywhere. The kitchen is old but functional, the entire villa needs a bit of a spruce up, the front path should be made clear and the front door usable, instead of having to walk through the centre of the villa in the dark. The front door roller door is just not secure.

The beach nearby had red flags and impossible to swim during our stay. Nothing to do with the villa, but we were a bit disappointed. I don’t know if it is usual or not.

The property was perfect and very comfortable for our group of 9. Great location in a quieter part of Canggu but easy to get around. Best part was the amazing staff who looked after us. Definitely recommended for family groups. The kids loved every moment.

Spacious villa with beautiful garden and open living area. Great for a group of friends or visiting with family. We had a nice time having breakfast with friends, chilling by the pool by day, walking over to the beach for sunset, and ending the day with a movie night. If you have scooters/car you can easily get to nice restaurants nearby. Nice sea view from the second floor!

We noticed that the 2 bedrooms downstairs had the smell of dampness inside. There were 2 sites nearby with ongoing construction. The rooms somewhat canceled the noise but not entirely. Some of us were a bit bothered, I slept like a baby though.
