Villa Matahari Munggu 5BR

Private residence, integrated pool, decor was minimalistic, had menu for different services, really helpful villa manager. walk to end of the street to a cool outside bar with live music and beach.

kitchen was very basic, don't imagine too much cooking. our friends felt it was a bit remote, we quite liked that. Canggu beach is darker sand with many rocks so not as nice as the south side of Bali

Pool area is great, lawn, upstairs rooms, dining room all good.

Mould in downstairs rooms Mould smell in downstairs rooms - they were horrible to sleep in. We felt like we were breathing it in all night. No fresh towels. We had 1 bath towel for the entire 3 night stay and due to the humidity, they didn’t get dry properly.

Everything was amazing. Service was flawless, villa was beautiful and the location just outside Canggu city center so it was more quiet and peaceful. 2 min walk from a delicious restaurant on a beach. Very easy to navigate with motorcycles.

Some wasps but generally very harmless. There is a room in its own hut in the garden which is beautiful but be careful to close doors to avoid wasps.

This property was gorgeous. Away from the busy hustle, just a short gojek into Canggu. Security guards the gate of a night time. The beds were incredibly comfortable and soft pillows are a plus. Breakfast and spa options to come to you. We were visted by mud crabs and frogs in our outdoor showers, very cute.
