the location isnt the best, but not too far from the centre. There's a lot of rules that incur fines, but I didn't find out about them until after it was booked. Fortunately, we didn't get fined, but it would. I'd been nice to know before we booked.

Excellent property with lots of space indoors and out for a group. Plenty of everything that you needed. Lovely outdoor space with seating and a huge hot tub.

The property was equipped with everything anyone could need. Big enough for everyone’s own space. The host was excellent and very helpful.

The property had good location and beautiful garden with hot tub, also plenty of rooms and comfortable bedrooms. We have got everything we would need, even fresh milk and sweets was waiting for us to arrive at the house. Appreciate it, really would love to recommend it but in this case don’t feel that I can.

Once arrived we was provided with wrong code how to access the property, 10 minutes later guy on the phone remembered that house has got extra key to access the house, later he came to take it back and provided us with new code. Next thing was WIfi, we were provided with non existent details about internet connection how to access it, thanks God after asking through WhatsApp we got completely different details rather than was provided. Third thing was whole downstairs living room, kitchen, sitting area was all sticky, dirty and were smelly. Whole kitchen equipment smelled unclean and like rotten eggs. We couldn’t cook anything neither to eat anything from plates or glasses they provided. We rented house to have engagement party for whole family and friends, were travelling to Newcastle at least 6h in the car from Norwich, we loved the pictures and atmosphere how much beautiful was everything described, but what we found was beyond our imagination. Even basic things as hand soap wasn’t provided in the toilets. Cigarette filters and other things were lying around the doors. Property was awarded by booking.com recently 9.9 of 10 For 10 stars. I don’t believe it’s possible to hold such a high rating on a house while it’s such a low state. We only rented because of the pictures and high rates as they presented. Cleanliness is a major concern for many people and this house downstairs wasn’t cleaned at all for a while. Because of the guest arrived basically after us we didn’t even had chance to contact the owner, we had no choice but to stay as the house price was £950 for 2 nights and was non returnable if you cancel. We had no choices but to stay in such a condition that we were not able to cook anything for ourselves or even for our children. 2 days of stay we were forced to eat in restaurants as we were afraid to get sick if will use any of the kitchen equipment we were provided. Earlier we were offered £60 refund for cleaning fee in return not to leave bad reviews.

We booked this place for a 31st birthday party and it was perfect. When we arrived, there were beers in the fridge and a birthday cake, which was a nice touch. We had a problem with the hot tub when we got there, but the owner took the cost of that day off the price and had it fixed by the evening. You can't ask for more than that. The house is walking distance to lots of takeaways, and there's a gym a 10-minute drive away where you can get a day pass for £5. It's also only an 8-minute Uber ride to Newcastle city centre. Great location. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The house was very clean and well kept. All of the group agreed that the beds were comfortable too so had brilliant night's sleep! The host was super friendly and gave detailed instructions on how to work the security door and code, the hot tub and all other facilities. On top of that, we had a great surprise on arrival when we discovered the host had left us treats, pastries for a continental breakfast, milk, butter and even extra snacks and drinks in the fridge! The property is a short uber (approx£10) from the city centre, or 15 minute bus ride (£2). Outside area was clean and modern. With well maintained decking, outside furniture and hot tub! There was an additional charge for use of the hot tub but this was more than reasonable and well worth the extra money. The WiFi was great considering we had a group of 14 all connected with no problem. The host also kept in contact via WhatsApp which I thought was a great personal touch. I felt very comfortable knowing I could text or even ring the host if we had any issues and the extra attentive care to message during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed was lovely. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again in future!
