San Angelo has really bad water. Bottled water should be available in the rooms.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

The only reason I down-rated the room, and otherwise would have given top ratings, is significant: the soundproofing (specifically, between floors) is not good. The footsteps above me woke me up a few times, and I don't think anyone was doing anything other than normal walking. This is a negative impact on sleep and comfort. I don't know what you might be able to do at this point to rectify it, but I suggest you at least consider and research possibilities. Thanks.

The room started off feeling good but then it got warm and we did not get much sleep since it got warm in there. The air was on at 67 degrees and you think it would have stay cooler or little cold.

The complimentary breakfast is VERY good with many options. Tucker, Catherine and the staff are GREAT! The location is very convenient and the hotel is kept clean with nice hot showers.

The biggest change from previous visits is that the hotel is now also for pets. This is super for pet people but I believe the owners should consider separating animal owners to a specific floor. Many of us LIKE animals but are allergic especially to pet dander left in carpets/beds etc. Also it is unpleasant to have the property grounds with the addition of excess animal excretions etc. Maybe pet pickup glove/bag stations would help? The intermittent barking is also somewhat frustrating especially at night. The rooms are nice but the LIGHTING has always been poor especially for seniors. The 2 small lamps are located too low and the lighting is not good in the evening/night. I actually take the ice bucket and put the lamp on it and a tissue box to elevate the small desk light to make the minimal lighting useful. The overall aspect of the room is very good EXCEPT the small refrigerator in the room is not very useful - even after having the maintenance repair person [who was VERY patient and courteous] explained that they are a type of unit that does not use fans. It does not cool down sodas or water well. So we just got a container for ice and put the sodas/water to keep it colder.
