AUWe booked to stay a night on Good Friday. Worried about checking in on a public holiday resulted in making an enquiry with the Pub licencee Stacey who ensured the key would be left in a safe place and ensured our check in was seem less. The pub wasn’t open during our stay but that certainly made for a quiet stay! The rooms are excellent for pub accommodation, warm, clean, quiet and safe. The shared bathroom was very clean and perfectly acceptable for a one night stay. On arrival we made use of the large balcony to have few drinks and a snack before heading to the function we were attending in nearby Portland. The balcony had a BBQ which would be good for future reference and there was also a microwave and other kitchen applicants which would make it handy if you needed to heat up a snack. Definitely a good value location. Not much to do in Wang but it suited our needs and was reasonable in price. The sleep quality was great!
a very pleasant quiet atmosphere. The room and facilities were attractive and comfortable and reasonably priced. The meal in the bistro was very tasty. Altogether an enjoyable stay.
