Lovely little cottage in the heart of mumbles. Great communication from the host.

Not enough towels for occupants. Need a bath towel per person. Downstairs toilet could have been cleaner - cobwebs. Bedding for trundle bed smelt a little damp / not clean but we did need to use it.

Very clean and comfortable, fresh decor. Plenty of storage. Kitchen a good size and well equipped including a large fridge freezer. There wasn't anything else needed. Collection of books and games in sitting room. Nice balcony with sea view. Quiet surroundings, even on a Friday night. This wouldn't suit someone with mobility problems as up a steep little hill but steep little hills are a given in Swansea and surrounding area. Long stay parking a five minute walk away £17.50 for 24 hours. Friendly neighbours. Plenty of hot water and towels. Very helpful host. I'd recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a bolt hole for a quiet and comfortable break in a convenient location for shops, pubs and restaurants. And Joe's! I stayed on my own but the storage in the bedrooms means a few people could manage comfortably, though the bedrooms are cottage proportions.

Well situated for all amenities that Mumbles has to offer

It is advertised as “ fisherman’s cottage”. We followed the directions given and found the property clearly marked “ Fisherman’s Cottage” on Village Lane, only to discover on entering that it was already occupied! There are obviously two cottages with the same name on the same lane at the location expected from reading the directions ( we do not have a satnav ). We eventually found the property a little further down the lane but would have been easier if the owners did not use the name “ Fisherman’s Cottage” I felt it was overpriced considering it had no washing machine or dishwasher.
