Extended Fishermans cottage with stunning sea views

Excellent location. Comfortably furnished.

Very minor issues were: couple of lights (landing on stairs and in bathroom) not working. Limited number of towels - two bath towels for 3 people and not clear if two other towels, hanging on doors of bedroom and lower toilet were laundered - usual convention is to leave one bath and one hand towel per person folded on beds or similar. But owner did then provide lots more fresh towels on second day, which was appreciated. Issue getting into property on arrival as had only received “old” key code, but owner did rectify immediately and in a nice manner once advised. Having stayed at quite a few holiday cottages, a suggestion might be to leave a note in the kitchen advising of power capacity of microwave (it’s not on the machine) and leave oven instructions visible - we found them in kitchen drawer but others might not know to look around. Finally, it’s easy to walk past entrance to Rockhill when going up the access road, Village Lane, so arrival instructions might better say something like “access via Village Lane, with property behind gate and very close to Mumbles Road end of Village Lane.” We walked straight past it initially. Sorry this is a bit lengthy but hopefully will be helpful. Would happily stay there again.

Great location and size. Very comfortable and well designed. Enjoyed the small balcony with great views.

Parking is on road and it can get busy which made it tricky to find a space, but other car parks are available if needed & host provided helpful info in advance on options.

Facilities, location cosy . Got everything you need. Superfast WiFi. Great views

Access a bit difficult ok in the dry but would be awkward if pouring down.
