Extended Fishermans cottage with stunning sea views

Great location. Lovely view across the bay from the balcony.

Lovely peaceful cottage (pretty little lane) with beautiful views from the balcony. Well equipped and immaculately clean. Great communication with owner. Felt really homely and slept great! Literally round the corner from shops, beach and restaurants. My daughter and I stayed in July for a weekend.

It was fantastic but..Parking is difficult, there is none at the property but you can offload at the bottom of the row of cottages. The path up to the cottage is steep. Fine for us, but not for those with mobility issues and may be slippery in the winter. I only have a small car, but the turning down into the steep lane is very tight and tricky! But don’t let that put you off. Prob easier to offload at the bottom of the hill on the corner of the main road. Especially if you have a big car. We did find parking on the road and with the beach, shops and restaurants being so close meant we could park the car for the weekend and walk everywhere local. Note that the 2nd bedroom is small with a single IKEA day bed. Not much room. My adult daughter slept well though.

Beautiful property in beautiful location

Good location in centre of facilities. Property had more space than expected. Would have worked well for a longer stay.

Parking was a bit of a lottery but that goes with the area. Probably easier when work on sea wall complete.

Location was good, beds were well made, stay was overall comfortable.

Cleanliness was not 100%, place was dusty with some grime here and there, had not been cleaned very thorughly. Upstairs sink drained very slowly.

Unfortunately there was no sheet for the sofa bed which I appreciate was probably an oversight. But there were no curtains down stairs so we couldnt sleep down there as we'd have been woken up with the sun and there was no privacy. There is also no proper curtains in the smaller bedroom so our children rose with the sun. We had to share in the master bedroom with one of our children I wouldn't recommend staying as a family until there are curtains. It shouldn't really be advertised to accommodate more than 2 people. We were quite disappointed considering the cost.

Location as great and the cottage and facilitys superb felt like home from home
