Afrokan Hotel

It was really lovely for what we paid. Easy to locate and it was close to several places I wanted to visit. I will definitely visit again.

The hotel was nice but there was no water for an extended period on 2 different days. The water was dripping from the wash basin to the floor in the bathroom. The restaurant had a funny smell one time(maybe shisha) but I'm not sure

I really loved the location and would definitely book again next year. Definitely worth the price. Only issue is from time to time water will be unavailable. The staff were nice and helpful always available to assist and give recommendations. Food at the bar was good.

The room and facilities was very clean. Staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Great property, gentle & respectful staff. It’s very close to restaurants & a shopping center, the only issue is the sound from the airplanes, especially at night when you are trying to get some sleep. But OK if you can manage some earplugs or headphones.

Clean crisp linens. Showers that give plenty of hot water Tea kettle and fridge in the room. I have stayed in sveral rooms, and they are all equally nice. Restaurant is sports bar withba picturesque fountain. Food prepared well. Bartender makes an excellent Old Fashioned cocktail too. Great place, I have been staying every week for work. I will continue doing so. Grear value. Helpful well organized staff.

Friendly customer service team, willing to help. Overall a good choice hotel for location and price. Eco friendly is a bonus. I will definitely visit again.

I really liked this hotel, but there was a party on the Friday night with VERY loud music which ended at 1am. There is building work going on and that started at 8am the next morning. Staff were mixed. When I arrived they were efficient but not overly welcoming. When I left the woman on reception was super friendly and helpful. Don’t believe all the information. There is no spa for example. The gym is like a goldfish bowl. You would work out or swim in the pool with the whole bar/restaurant looking at you :) The rooms are great but a bit tired. Overall it has loads of potential but doesn’t seem to have defined its niche. More like a backpacker party venue but with nice rooms.
