"Uman"

7.0

Beautiful natural surroundings. Breakfast included! Price is low for Tulum. The reception and breakfast man was so friendly.

Black mold issues on exterior of tent. Road from the puebla is busy and rough

"Magical"

9.0

We love Uman! Beautiful glamping spot, right on the most magical cenote. Run by a sweet group of folks. If "luxury camping" is your thing, then you'll absolutely love Uman. Great breakfast too!! Oh, and you can access the beach through a lovely hotel right across the road.

"Nice glamming place with awesome cenote, just a bit overpriced"

8.0

Amazing Cenote access, very quite area and friendly stuff. Very tasty breakfast. Bed was very comfortable and we loved the rainfall shower

Price is actually way to high, but that’s seem to be normal on Tulum… Bit difficult to find food in walking distance. And the generator is actually destroying the peaceful atmosphere a little bit

"Relaxing and peaceful!"

The room was super comfortable and clean, the cenote is beautiful, is super close to the beach, Anwar and Santiago were super friendly and helpful!

It needs a little bit of general maintenance.

"Relaxing, peaceful experience."

10.0

We loved the cenote on the property. It was beautiful, peaceful, and convenient. The design of the property makes it feel quiet and private despite being in the middle of the popular tourist area. Staff were very helpful.

"A One-of-a-Kind Jungle Glamping Experience with Amazing Hosts"

10.0

During our trip to Mexico, we visited several places, but this one offered the most unique experience in every way. The glamping site is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, truly immersing us in the jungle. We were surrounded by lush plants and a fascinating variety of wildlife—an unusual crab, lizards, a scorpion, and even two crocodiles in the cenote. We also loved the friendly company of the host’s cats and dogs, who were always around, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Just across the road, we had free access to a breathtaking beach with crystal-clear turquoise water. Our tent was spacious and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor yet private bathroom setup. The private cenote was another highlight, featuring a three-level wooden terrace where we could climb up and take in the stunning views. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with two hanging beds perfect for unwinding. We also had the option to explore the cenote by kayak or SUP and snorkeling was a great way to experience its underwater beauty. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning, with two simple but delicious options—an omelet or a fruit plate with yogurt and cereal. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the warmth and hospitality of the local hosts. A special thanks to Santi, Anwar, and Daniel for being so kind, open, and welcoming. They made us feel at home, shared great conversations, and taught us about local culture—including treating us to homemade drinks and hot sauce. We didn’t feel like tourists here—we felt like friends. And that made all the difference.

Everything was great. 😊

"Un cadre reposant"

10.0

"Disappointing"

7.0

We were somewhat disappointed with our stay, perhaps tainted by our disappointment with the Tulum hotel strip. To start off with the 2,000 pesos charge for a shuttle from the airport was excessive. Despite being aware of our arrival time there was nobody there to meet and admit us. We had to wait for someone to drive over. We have done glamping in other locations and are aware of the limitations but Uman is long overdue a complete renovation. Zippers on the tents, for e.g are damaged and require replacement in order to be able to close fully (a problem when you are faced with mosquitos!) Some more storage space to allow unpacking the suitcase would be useful! Breakfast was very limited choice of fruits that did not change over four days. All in all a disappointing 4 day start to our three weeks in the area.
