Uman Glamping & Cenote Tulum

Location near a cenote

Mould on tent, receptionist didn’t speak any English. There was no breakfast. No water facilities. So many mosquitoes. Low water pressure from shower.

Gar nichts, als wir angekommen sind war alles dunkel und NIEMAND WAR DA. Niemand informierte uns über einen angeblichen Stromausfall? Wir bekamen KEINE INFOS und zahlten 600 pesos für das Taxi dafür dass wir erst recht wieder durch die ganze Stadt fahren konnten um eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. EINE ABSOLUTE FRECHHEIT. Niemand hat Kontakt zu uns aufgenommen oder und eine Erklärung gegeben für das was passierte. In der Nacht im Dunkeln im Dschungel anzukommen ist ein reiner Alptraum wir wussten nicht was um uns geschieht. Würde ich kein spanisch sprechen wären wir aufgeschmissen gewesen.

Absolute Frechheit, wenn alles schief läuft bekommen sie gar keinen Aufenthalt da wo Sie es gebucht haben sondern UMAN tut einfach so als wäre nichts gewesen. Wir haben keine Erstattung bekommen und auch keine Vergünstigungen und wir haben mehrmals versucht mit UMAN Kontakt aufzunehmen.

C'était plus 'camp' que 'glam'. Aucun personnel à l'arrivée, on vous donne le bip pour passer la porte et le reste c'est 'débrouillez vous'. Nos questions sont restées sans réponses. Les tentes ne sont pas entretenues donc assez vétustes, et aménagées de façon rustique et minimale. Si vous recherchez un logement type camping sans douche commune très bien, sinon passez votre chemin. N'oubliez pas l'anti moustique et attention aux tiques

It was located way at the end of the road, less central than other places in regards to getting around the area to other activities. I just didn't understand my needs well before booking the location. It was a dark space...which should be expected for a jungle-like location.

It was ok.

What a way to find a local place in the midst of tourist central! Access to a cenote + beach and designed to perfection. The best of course are the people. Santiago was an absolute killer host. Those owners should be so grateful to have those guys working for them.

Just an fyi to myself.. bring bug spray!

Breakfast to be improved

Tents are spacious and the outdoor bathrooms are very cool. Staff is very friendly. There is access to a small cenote. Si'an park entrance is right next to it, although it takes hours to get to attractions.

Our tent was moldy, so unfortunately I ended up with stuffy sinuses. One entrance zipper was broken. The property is cute but rundown - cenote jetty was a bit dilapidated, chillout places did not exist. The photos show it in a much better condition than we encountered. The place is at the end of tulum road, which makes it both good and bad - good because it is quieter, bad because you have to drive through all the town with insane traffic. Breakfasts were small and very average.

Calm vibes, easy checkin, the tent itself is quite big and the outside bathroom is super cool. Great to have direct access to the cenote, and free renting of kayak/paddleboard. Breakfast is good, host very friendly. We were here during a thunderstorm so spend most of our time in the glamping (instead of beach or other Tulum activities), very relaxing.

The restaurants/beach clubs in Tulum are very expensive, and in this location the access to the beach is only via expensive beach clubs. No free access!
