"Pathetic Stay at Welcome ITC hotel Guntur - Arrogant front end staff and insensitive Manager Salman"

Pathetic experience at this hotel. I was on a business trip and walked in for checking. They said cant do on the counter checkin so I went online and paid through make my trip. I am a ITC club member. Post dinner, I asked them to post the bill to my room number which they denied and forced me to settle the bill then and there. Despite having a two night booking and being a ITC member, this cheap hotel is apprehensive that guest will run away with their 2000 Rs bill. Come here only when you want to spoil your stay. And to make things worse, their front end Manager Salman is the most arrogant and uncourteous person I have met in this industry. No courtesy, no understanding and extremely insensitive. Wake up call ITC Group, this is not how you treat guests.

"Coffee machine not working"

Dear ITC Welcome Hotel Guntur Team, I would like to bring to your attention that the coffee machine in the room is not in working condition. This was the same issue during my last visit as well, and it’s disappointing that it still persists. As a coffee lover, not being able to enjoy espresso or Americano coffee during my stay is quite inconvenient. I would appreciate it if you could arrange to have the machine replaced at the earliest. Spacious rooms and swimming pool. And the valet service.

Front desk, Restaurant, and staff politeness. The property clearly needs stronger management and leadership. As a shareholder in ITC and ITC Hotels, I hope the owners take these issues seriously. For a hotel marketed as 5-star, this stay was underwhelming and disappointing.
